Marbling is a traditional method of aqueous surface design providing fluidity and movement. 

This series is process-based and experimental due to its nature. Working on water, an unstable medium that makes the piece grow in unexpected ways provides a unique way to contemplate the idea of control, order and disorder, accidentalness, and how the universe works. The water container that I use to make marbling is a prototype of the cosmos where everything is connected; each drop of paint expands and affects the entire surface just like our actions and thoughts that cause a butterfly effect in the universe.
